Snow day!

Today, the greater Charlotte area joined a lot of the Carolinas in being turned into a winter wonderland. Yes, we got SNOW!
The snow actually started to fall and stick last night, so the neighborhood was blanketed by the time we woke up this morning.

Stuff I need to talk about, Vol. 1 — UNC/NC State hoops

First, the back story: As you may or may not know, our wedding day fell on a key day of college basketball. First, the Gamecocks were set to travel to Rupp Arena in Kentucky, but, more important, North Carolina was slated to play NC State.

Look away, look away, look away

So, I have made it back from the DEEP DEEP South. I have to say that was the gold standard of all road trips.
Here’s how it broke down:

Yesterday was one of those overall great days. If I could have taken a picture of yesterday, I would frame it and put it up somewhere so that I could point to it, and people could see an ideal day for the experience that is Carolina Football.

As the title of the entry gives away, baseball was a big thing over my Independence Day weekend.
