Today was a fine day in the work world … I got to produce something that (1) really interests me and (2) I can actually say something about (in other words, present an informed opinion).

I think I stopped updating because things have been good.
Also, let’s face it … no one was reading. I mean after all, I never said anything controversial, or informative, and, well, we don’t have kids, so … that about covers the reasons why someone would read a blog, right?

We had this major-league mishap with the new content management system today. We were basically in standby mode for an hour or so.
I think we made pretty good use of our time while we were down, as we engaged in deep-probing discussions in the editorial department.

Well, after the trip to Boston, then Memorial Day, I’ve been out of the groove as far as softball goes the last couple of weeks. Two weeks ago, I had a piddly day, then came last Friday, my first game of church ball this year. I had a bad groundout, then was robbed of a base hit on a great leap by the other team’s shortstop.
Then, well, Saturday … the first round of the playoffs for the media league … I don’t even want to talk about it. At least we won! So, then, came tonight’s church ball game.
